Summer is getting closer and closer and in Spain we are already noticing the high and hot temperatures. Especially in Madrid the heat becomes a big nuisance. The capital of the country has everything you can imagine in leisure, culture, sports or gastronomy, but the reality is that Madrid lacks the beach. For this reason, there are many Madrileños who, faced with the high temperatures, decide to move to the nearest beaches. If you are also studying or working in Madrid and you want to enjoy a day at the beach, the closest beaches are in Valencia. Therefore, in today’s post we want to show you which are the best beaches in Valencia and encourage you to escape from the sweltering heat.

To travel from Madrid to Valencia, you can go by car and it will take you about 3 hours and a half, approximately. Another option is to travel by train or bus

Arbre del Gos Beach

Very close to the beach of Pinedo we can find the beach of l’Arbre del Gos. It is a more virgin and wild beach, but with all the necessary amenities. This beach also has public toilets and showers, and access for people with reduced mobility. In addition, lifeguards watch the beach at all times to avoid altercations.

You can reach this beach with Valencia public bus lines 14 or 15.

El Perellò Beach

El Perellò is a town in Valencia located just 20 minutes away by car and can also be reached by public transport from the city center using bus line 25. It is a small village that maintains the tradition and local Valencian culture and, of course, also its exquisite gastronomy.

The good thing about the beach of El Perellò is that it is not usually a very crowded beach by tourists, so you can be quieter than on other beaches, surrounded by the locals and probably with cheaper prices if you feel like eating in one of the bars or restaurants near the beach.

Recatí Beach

Recatí Beach stands out for its beauty and its location in an exceptional area.  Right at the point where the Albufera Natural Park and the Mediterranean Sea meet, you will find this beach. In addition to its crystal clear waters and golden sand, the landscapes around the beach are also film-like due to its incredible rice fields.

In addition, the beach also has public restrooms and showers to make your stay a much more comfortable and pleasant experience.

And if during your visit to the beaches of Valencia you fall in love with the Mediterranean city and you feel like living there your next stage as a worker or student, remember that in Lodgerin we have the best accommodations for you.
