1. Botanical Garden Lights 

The Royal Botanic Garden has a decoration of millions of lights in all colors. You can enjoy a beautiful and magical journey of almost 2km, from November 19 to January 6, 2020. You can book your ticket here. The good news is that as a student you can enjoy a very special price. 

2. Walk in Gran Vía 

At this time of the year, Christmas lights are the protagonists in the streets of Madrid, so it is the perfect excuse to take advantage and enjoy a beautiful walk through one of the best avenues in the city, Gran Vía. Here you will not only appreciate the lights, you can also enjoy Christmas shopping. 

3. Naviluz 

If you prefer, you can enjoy the Christmas lights in Madrid by Naviluz, the Christmas bus, which takes a tour of the main illuminated avenues of the capital, such as: Gran Vía, Calle Alcalá and Barrio Salamanca. It will be available until January 6, Three Kings Day. It works every day of the week from 18h until 21h. The price of the tickets is 4 euros, we recommend that you catch them as soon as possible, because they sell out quickly.

4. Christmas Markets 

There ara a lot of christmas markets in Madrid, where you can find everything about this time of the year, such as decorations, christmas hats, toy and delicious christmas desserts. 

Where are they  located? They are in the main squares of Madrid, such as Plaza España, Plaza Mayor, Plaza Santa Cruz, Plaza de Callao, Plaza de Santo Domingo, or the sweet festival located in Plaza de Isabel II, etc. 

5. Ice Skating

This plan is also one of the main components of Christmas in Madrid. 7. Lights in Torrejón de Ardoz 

The Christmas lights in Torrejón de Ardoz is one of the most important shows in the community of Madrid. This year, the magic door will trend a play of lights and music, which has worked under the command of the Italian company Mariano Light. The show is available from November 23 to January 6 at 19h. And the best news is that the show is totally free. Perfect for students! 

8. Christmas town and Santa Claus home 

From December 14 to January 5 you can enjoy the magic of the Christmas town and the Santa Claus house in La Real Casa de Postas. You can visit every room of this spectacular house with the company of Santa Claus, his Elves and the wise men. 

9. Christmas carol concert 

This December 15th, the Teatro de la Zarzuela will present a Christmas Carol concert presented by a hundred children between 6 and 16 years old of the ORCA Small Cantores choir. 

10. Ski
